This overview is from: Samsung UN40C6300 40-Inch 1080p a hundred and twenty Hz LED TV, Graphite (Electronics)
after some analysis, I bought this samsung (non-3d, non-240hz) as a result of scores and seeing it at several retail outlets. the scores had the most important drawback being the price ( originally $1950 ? ), so as the value tumbled it appeared a very good deal. I purchased it for $1259+ nj tax from best buy; bought it online and picked it up( no transport). what jumps out at you first is the plate glass entrance and the thinness--very stylish tho that is secondary to performance for me.
it was jarringly clear from the getgo, making odd shows like "The Tudors" seem like they were filmed on videotape and never film or digital.
it was actually just a little distracting and I needed to flip down the clarity. probably the most superb attribute is that on some shows it betrays the set lighting effects. you may detect the the keylight on actors faces.
my one gripe is that samsung has not as yet given purchasers any route in customizing the settings and so they NEED customization. it's left on the buyer to figure it out with no steerage about "jutter" or why the info box says 60hz when the specs say it should be 120hz.
the calibration web sites have nothing on these fashions but either and the danger is that they will skip over these models and give attention to the brand new 3D sets coming out.
so in spite of everything that griping, I still wouldn't send it again regardless of it not being perfect, its 'imperfection" still leaves an amazing picture, can't wait to see how the NFL games look.
